Oil Seals

Oil seals, also known as lip seals or rotary seals, are mechanical devices designed to prevent the leakage of lubricants, oils, or other fluids while keeping contaminants out of machinery. They are essential components in various mechanical applications, particularly in engines, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.

Talbros oil seals typically consist of a rubber or elastomeric sealing lip, a metal casing, and sometimes a spring that helps maintain pressure against the sealing surface. The rubber lip forms a tight seal against a rotating shaft, while the metal casing provides structural support.

The de-flashing for our rubber-metal oil seals takes place via robotic arms ensuring a clean removal of flash without damaging any parts of the seal.
